Skopje - September 4, 2007

Sofia City Court once again rejected to register the political party of Macedonians living in Bulgaria - OMO [United Macedonian Organization] PIRIN [Party of Economic Development and Integration of the Population].
The Court's decision was aimed to prevent a participation of OMO Ilinden Pirin in the local elections next month, party leader Stoyko Stoykov said. Last June, the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers recommended Bulgaria to register the party in the shortest possible time.
